Re: Raheem vs Rwanda live!

Raheem hits the bar. Running the show so far...

Weird video quality looks like World cup 1986.

Must be a poor video... he hit the post. He is looking lively though.

Looks like Belgium vs Brazil. Don't think they played each other in 1986.

Re: Raheem vs Rwanda live!

Worst decision ever.

Stonewall penalty to England, but Rwanda get a freekick instead.

Re: Raheem vs Rwanda live!

raheem hasnt been great since ive been watching, that sterling looks a decent player though

Re: Raheem vs Rwanda live!

Raheem has been Englands best player so far.
Just hit a delightful cross in to the box. Hope hit's the post.

Edit just have to add that I'm very impressed with Raheem's precision.

Re: Raheem vs Rwanda live!

It's proving very hard not to get excited about this lad . His dribbling is a joy to watch , the ball just sticks to his feet . But he's got so much more to his game , he can cross , pass and his awareness of what's going on is first class.

Nice goal although slightly dodgy keeping , well maybe i am being harsh , he probably just a little smaller than an adult keeper so couldn't reach it .

And Smith does look like a great prospect too , loves to bomb forward and can defend too.

Re: Raheem vs Rwanda live!

Raheem and Sterling is Doc Macs legacy for scm.

Lets not sign the mata. Lets give one of these lads a shot.

Exactly what i was about to say.... I watched him a few times for the under 18's last season and he is so many classes above what he's playing against. My only concern would be a crunching tackle from a big prem defender. They'd kill him.

So is he ready or not?

he's tiny, thats his only problem, unfortunately i think its too soon for him right now, im incredibly eager to see him in the first team though

Re: Raheem vs Rwanda live!

Ronaldo and Walcott were both playing regularly in the top flight from 17.
How old is Raheem?

I say not. Like I've said before he needs a year or two of reserve football and considering that we're playing in the U19 CL he'll get some much needed experience against other top rated youth players.

Mostly I think he needs another year to get more meat on his bones.
He's only 16, his time will come. No need to rush him.
