We are currently 17th in rank of the qualifiers with at least 4 of the play off teams higher too.

This means we will be in pot 3 :-(

Arse (if they qualify) and Chel$ki in pot 1 and Citeh in pot 2

This has been known for months.

It still leaves us with a realistic chance of getting through - we want to avoid the few sides like Juventus and Monaco who are better than their ranking, though.
 
I cannot wait for the champions league! God I wish it was possible to get tickets on my member card!
 
Let them worry about us. We're Liverpool. Arsenal, never won it despite being in it every fucking year and have to go through qualifying rounds but are still in pot one.
Yeah, that works.
 
Isn't it 28th August yet ? Damn, can't wait for the draw ! I want damn good teams in our group !!

Something like PSG, Juventus & Ajax will do - then we just shock the lot.
 
If someone says we got the group of death, they get a digital wedgie. Ruari will oblige.
 
For us there is no group of death - the death in that group will be for the others in that group because they will face us !!! However, not be a moron - but BR's record with us in cup competitions is not that great is it ?

It's not exactly a big sample, is it? His record in big matches is pretty good, and setting the team up for particular opponents, and reacting to events during matches. That should translate well to European competition.

So by your logic - it should translate well in league cup games, and FA Cup rounds should it not ?
 
They said we were doomed.

Went to Nou Camp. Beat the holders 2-1.

They said we were inconsistent and shite.

The spanish champions (Real Madrid) came to town and got outclassed 4-0.

So yeah....

Yes there is - every time we come up against a big side in a cup match we keep getting knocked out. That has to change when competing in the CL.
