I can't believe we've been wasting time speculation on United's next manger. Don't we have a more pressing issue? What do you think Ryan Giggs will wear on his managerial debut this weekend?

Will he keep it casual and go for the classic v neck jumper and shirt? Or go all out and borrow a go of his brother's suit for the occasion? Tracksuit is another option but I presume it's safe to rule out a Tim Sherwood styled gillet (sp?)

We need @Herr Onceared to call this. He specialises in manager's fashion.

I've asked PaddyPower to run a book on this as I wanted a score on V neck jumper but they haven't gotten back to me. Watch this space ___________.

I think Giggs will go for the Sherwood look, he has the same gaunt washed out face, obviously with a United trackie instead.

Hopefully when he gets the full contract he will wear the full kit for every game for the next six years.

I think he'll favour a black ensemble but in the smart casual style. Black, neatly pressed trousers. White shirt with a black V neck jumper. The whole thing will be offset by a dab of colour in the form of the red and white tie he'll wear. I wager he won't shave as to give him that rugged devil may care look.

The only manager to have worn a suit well in the history of the Premier League is Di Canio by the way. Every other cunt gives weekly lessons in fashion abortionness. Especially that fucking jebend Wenger.

Cesare Prandelli is the greatest on the planet if you're interested.

You're probably not.

I think he'll do exactly this.

long-shot, but it would be interesting if he went for the track suit bottom approach and football boots - a la rolling up the sleeves and getting stuck in at a time of crisis and not poncing around in a 'distant' suit.

A classic Martin O' Neill effort?

Perhaps if they were fighting relegation or a battle for 4th. He is just seeing out the season with them.

that's the one!

I wonder whether he would put himself on as a sub? Has the premier league ever had a player-manager? Out of curiosity, if a player-manager is playing, who makes the decisions on subs? Assume it is still him? Or does he abdicate in favour of someone not so engrossed in game. Kenny must have been in the position before?

Sir Ryan will have the United shirt under his club suit ala Superman to run on and take a late corner.

Not in the same fucking stratosphere as Prandelli, or Lippi for that matter.

Thoughts on this one?

Although now that I look at it again, the trousers are too long.

Not to mention the baggy arms, the awful shoulder roll, the chest gap, and that he needs to pull his trousers up.

It's just a standard OTR suit.
