As I've said before, I'm always sceptical when the press publish numbers as I'm not convinced anyone would want it out in the open, although I imagine agents share information amongst themselves so they all know what the going rate is. It's not beyond the realms of fantasy that some other agent might blab, but we should always take it with a pinch of salt.

Presumably most wage figures you hear are estimates and in any case similarly incentivised.

There is a select group of footballers like Modric or Messi whose quality doesn’t seem to be affected by age - as long as they can drag their body around the pitch, they will remain effective because the football brain is just that good. KDB is in this elite category.

Not sure the legs need to be there with the possession based football we play. We run the least in the league.
