I must have voted about fifty times and Bob is still stuck on nineteen percent

I did about a hundred earlier. Fuck knows how they're calculating it. I'm dismayed how many of our fans (presumably they're our fans) are voting for Shankly TBH, they must know Bob is the better manager & would get more support overall, so it's just splitting the Liverpool vote needlessly.

The Mancs aren't splitting their vote as much as we are but we are still well behind regardless

Is it that straight forward? Bob obviously won more silver but Shankly built a club from the ground up, when he took over we hadnt been in the top division for 5 years and hadnt won the title in nearly 20 years. By contrast Paisley took over one of the greatest clubs in Europe and continued to reach new heights but he was standing on the shoulders of a giant.

Agreed. I'd give it to Paisley because his trophy haul and the consistency with which we won them under him were just insane, but Shanks laid the foundations.

Yeah I still tend to think Shankly was the greater manager. No offence to Paisley but it's hard to imagine he could have built a club up like Shankly did. He was just a force of personality.
