Teams don't need to defend against us, we do it for them.

None of the front 3 move a muscle, they're all lazy fucking cunts. Fede Wirtz and Hugo are the only 3 that will run about a bit, but this bald headed fraud refuses to play them together.
 
Absolute shocker today. We have the best CB to ever play for this club and we’re fucking around playing a big part CB next to him cos one missed game for Ibu means we’re already in the dregs of our squad.

He had a poor game today. He put us in a hole that we exhausted ourselves climbing out because we are clueless.

He's older. If we want to preserve older players at their best, we need suitable options. We can get more out of him, less of the time.

Instead we opt to become more reliant on our players, precisely as they decline.

Is it shocking they are declining? No. Do they have backups? No. Do we manage their minutes? No.

We are fucking slow, and stupid and behind, and now it's rotting and everyone has to play in the stench of death.

He got Gomez injured did he? Just think about that. Yep. Gomez would have gone on to be a mainstay for us if only he didn't have to push himself to defend something after one game back.

You know who got him injured? The director of football.

We’re also overlooking how incredibly valuable VVD would be to 2-3 other CBs in their early 20s we could have learning from him. But we have him, Ibu and Joe.

I thought Guehi and Leoni were the planned replacements?

Our issue was we didn’t go all out to get one (in January) and the other got injured.

So an 18 year old and a suspected replacement for Konate (who will probably leave on a free). So we still need 2 CBS (vvd leaves after a year, and Gomez might as well). The fact we didn't get Guehi means we arguably need 3 CBs now

Weve dragged out heels and now we're playing catch up every year instead of doing sensible, piecemeal replacements
