The sad thing isn't that we are losing but that we don't look threatening at all and aren't pressing anywhere 🙁
I find it hard to slag him off that when we have so little movement in & around the box though. You need players in the box to hit it first time, he gets there & then has to stop & pull it back to allow players to try to move for it.
That move he had easy options though & still failed to play it.
Is this the 25th post you've made about Lucas having a bad game! Not that I'm saying he's been great but there isn't one player who's been good for us so far. Every time Can or Clyne or Lallana or Firmino (I had to double check that he was still playing) has fucked up do you shout at the telly 'FUCKING LUCAS'. Try and look past you're obvious dislike of one player and see how bad every player has been for fucks sake.
Has time ceased to exist for you, or have you time-travelled to compare Klopp in four years with Rodgers this season?
I can't truly believe klopp won't buy in january. He needs players in all areas of the pitch.
It was. But there were three errors :
- Bogdan should have caught it.
- Why didn't we have a player protecting the keeper ? I though that was de rigour nowadays. There were 2-3 Watford players around our keeper .. and not a red shirt for 2-3m.
- How the hell did Clattenburg not catch that it was kicked out of his hands ?
That's a fair point - I think he's a great defensive FB, but I've yet to see anything that gives me confidence he can be a complete fullback. It's a far better scenario than Magic, but he's not as good as I thought he was.
He's our defensive midfielder. And is the worst defensive midfielder in the entire league. A weak, slow, easily brushed aside non-entity who can't do anything even approaching proficiency. Slow passing, no clue how to build an attack, doesn't protect the defence.

I'm not sure we'll ever know how this was meant to look, thanks to that early error, and a fantastic bit of striking, however I'm not sure this team makes a lot of sense against how Watford play, even with two up front. If we got the first goal, maybe, but it's strange.
It's clear what klopp thinks of benteke, which isn't exactly going to motivate him. Figuring out how to use him is the challenge he must figure out, rather than figuring out every way not to. Or he has to buy a striker.

At one point there Bogdan approached Clattenburg and asked him about the first goal. Clattenburg seemed to be saying Bogdan may have had his hands on it but didn't have it under control. If the rule specifically says the ball has to be under control, it was the right decision IMO.

We dont look like scoring, more like conceding a couple.

I think it does tbh. They made the rule slightly ambiguous to allow for that type of thing, cos there's no way a ref can see if a keeper has both hands on it for a split second, but it's easy enough to see if it's held properly.
If what Ibe says about Klopp slapping players is true.....i hope he punches a few of them right in the cunt....
When Klopp first arrived I thought he'd maybe buy just one or two in January and save his main business for the summer. Far from sure about it now.

Yeah, how fucking long have we been saying new CB, new keeper and new defensive midfielder? Years.
And since losing Sterling and Sturridge to injury, we also need a quick attacker to replace him and ensure Lallana doesn't play, and a new striker to make sure Firmino isn't on the pitch again.
Goal would have been nice there!
