The FA don't help themselves though.. in youth football the cut off is 31st August.

You'd have thought they'd have kept that throughout the pyramid.

But somewhere along the line it changes from 31st August to "Season Start"

Hence the grey areas.
Yes.. but they should keep it throughout... I.e. under 21s etc.

I guess it changes when you get to professional to align to UEFA.

One observation - Bournemouth registered 19 Homegrown players.

One Question - how has Awoniyi managed to get home grown status - I know he was owned by us for long enough to qualify - but he was on loans overseas the entire time - I thought you had to actually be registered to play with a club in a league for 3 seasons to qualify as HG - didn’t think you could loan overseas and still get HG status.
