Now he has added Sigurðsson (voted Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons for Reading and Hoffenheim respectively) and
a highly-rated Josh McEachran to his squad, both on loan for the rest of the season. And of course we all know they won the battle for Rory Donnelly, the most promising player in the Irish League.
I'm astounded that a team that has cost less than seven million pound could be such a pleasure to watch at the elite level but aren't as naive as Blackpool. It's also good to see that they've showed so much faith in the team that got them into the top flight,
unlike QPR, because we tend to think of top-level football as a cut-throat business in which players are treated as cattle, now we know that faith has been rewarded by super performances from the players. All in all this shows what a fantastic talent spotter and man-motivator Brendan Rodgers is and the ease of which he's able to translate his ideas to the players.

Yeah, I was thinking this during the game. Brendan Rodgers has done a fantastic job. They play fantastic football and he has put together a very good team for peanuts compared to other teams.
He certainly has an eye for talent and finding the right players that fits into his team and ideas.
