2-2 Walcott

3-2 Graham 1 min later....

I see you got over your "don't care at all" phase.

Haha, I had it on in the background and it became a great match.

*Vorm (1.5m)

Angel Rangel (Undisclosed Fee)
*Caulker (On loan from Tottenham)
Ashley Williams (£400,000)
Neil Taylor (£150,000 compensation)

Joe Allen (Trainee)
*Britton (Free)
*Agustien (Free)

*Sinclair (£500,000-£1m)
*Graham (£3.5m)
Dyer (£400,000)

Total = £6.95m + 1 undisclosed fee
* Brendan Rodgers' signings since his arrival in July 2010

Now he has added Sigurðsson (voted Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons for Reading and Hoffenheim respectively) and a highly-rated Josh McEachran to his squad, both on loan for the rest of the season. And of course we all know they won the battle for Rory Donnelly, the most promising player in the Irish League.

I'm astounded that a team that has cost less than seven million pound could be such a pleasure to watch at the elite level but aren't as naive as Blackpool. It's also good to see that they've showed so much faith in the team that got them into the top flight, unlike QPR, because we tend to think of top-level football as a cut-throat business in which players are treated as cattle, now we know that faith has been rewarded by super performances from the players. All in all this shows what a fantastic talent spotter and man-motivator Brendan Rodgers is and the ease of which he's able to translate his ideas to the players.

Yeah, I was thinking this during the game. Brendan Rodgers has done a fantastic job. They play fantastic football and he has put together a very good team for peanuts compared to other teams.

He certainly has an eye for talent and finding the right players that fits into his team and ideas.

How much credit does Martinez get for helping Swansea get to where they are?

Did Rogers buy most of the players that are currently there now?

Absolutely! Martinez should get a lot of credit. No doubting that. He did get Swansea into the second tier after more than two decades and instilled a pass and move philosophy at the club. But Rodgers then brought them on that final elusive step towards the Premiership in just a year and a half. Would Martinez have been able to do that if he didn't move to Wigan? We'll never know. But right now Wigan are struggling for their Premier League lives and Swansea are sitting comfortable in midtable. I believe they are both young, very talented, likeable managers that are cut from the same cloth and both will have long careers in the game.

Good player, but has the same level of decision making as Ryan Babel. Fun to watch probably a nightmare to play with.

He can indeed play, but do you really think his desicion making is good?? Always a dribble to much or releasing the ball to late. But then he of course scores goals like the one at Everton. Good player who can do the impossible possible with the ball, but frustrating as hell when it comes to desicion making.

Reminds me of garcia

Inconsistent but magic could happen at any time

Fucking hell I despair for us at the minute.

Starting to like Sinclair a bit, works extremely hard and has pace to get past the defenders. Anything other than Kuyt and I'd sign them. Leon Best aswell.......... 🙂
[/quote]

Sinclair looks to be 10 times better than a certain England winger we purchased, I would have him like a shot

That looks like taunting someone with reference to the colour of the skin by a black player? Racist? 😉 And get Rodgers as Manager! ;p
