Wembley tickets?

It's nothing to do with people being OOTers or anything else, just a case of rewarding loyalty.
Someone who attends more matches in a season than someone else deserves a ticket ahead of them. Simple.
Doesn't matter where they're from, just how much they deserve it.
Yeah, it's difficult for people who don't live in Liverpool to get the game, but to not attend a single match when the away games can't be that far away then say you have as much right to the biggest match of the season as someone who has attended games is bollocks.

The travelodge in uxbridge for the 6 of us 130 pound for 2 nights is not bad at all. Wht would taxi prices be like to central London for a saturday night out?

Yeah thought you'd find something much cheaper there, the tube won't cost you more than £5 each to get to Wembley.
I have no concept of cab fares from there, ring mini-cab firms instead of black cabs. Just google cab firms in Uxbridge and ask them how much they'd charge

There are at least 50 hotels on laterooms for less than £50 for the room (double or twin) for a night. No idea about the location/transport etc but there is the Ramada London Ealing for £44 and it's just 3 miles away from Wembley and next to the tube.

Get the feeling even getting to london is going to be far more expensive than i imagined.

Should be a goodun, best of luck everyone on the ticket front. I totally agree about some deserving tickets more than others btw. Spion (for example), makes a great effort to get up for games when he can and offers lifts and tickets to others. Surely he would deserve a ticket for example ahead of someone cashing in for a one off game. Avvy is another example, he broke his neck to get up to Anfield and even caught an away game I think.
Or how about me, Aidan, the count or Ross. Who travel over and make a big effort to go to games and help others. Surely we'd deserve a ticket over some cunt like Paddy for example. Some do deserves tickets above others. I've been on both ends of it, my uncle gave me a ticket to the All Ireland Final two years ago and I hadn't been to a game in few years. Some one else did deserve that ticket more than me, I can admit that.
I see where Sean is coming from too, there has been countless times when he couldn't give away a ticket on here. We are a poor site for attending game and to sum up I think those who make a better effort to attend deserve a ticket more. It's not arrogance or anti - OTT (don't know why that was brought into this at all) just common sense. I don't begrudge anyone wanting to go, everyone is entitled to attend a match but I can why those who have made an effort in the past would be pissed off to see others jump on the bandwagon and get a ticket ahead of them.
