I think I've mentioned this before, but if you look up clips of Trent before the 22/23 season, you'll notice that he actually used to run. Trent worked hard every game, I'm not sure what changed and where the whole big time Charlie attitude came from, but Trent used to defend and track players.

He wanted to create "aura" clips of him doing 0 effort but 100 execution for assists/goals. Unfortunately he is the latest high profile victim of "hard work beats talent if talent doesn't work hard"

I don't think he'll ever find the motivation to work hard again - his mindset is too far gone. He'll still get some great moments, but I think his peak is long behind him now

Agree. He began to believe his own publicity and it's very hard (if it's even possible at all) to get that genie back in its bottle.
 
Its simply not cool to be the guy who runs a lot, gets out of breath and gives his all. And those players don't belong at LFC, whether they are scousers of not.
