I've been away for a week with limited access.

I've heard the odd snippet about a Mexican wonderkid and Aquilani going on loan to Fiorentina.
 
People are up on arms that we didn't sign carzola who moved to malaga
 
People are still trying to justify getting bum raped by Villa for Downing.

It's criminal that Aquilani is going on loan again.

I saw a bit of the Copa America final and Suarez looked good. Read later on Tim Vickery's blog that he was undoubtedly the player of the tournament. Nice!

Did you know there's a Brazilian lad called Lucas Leiva in our team Keni ? Apparently people on here have very mixed views on him but I'm still waiting for a new topic to be started on this so we can really discuss it in earnest.

I'm starting to think this is gonna be a big issue, the only real players who've benefitted so far from the first team are Carroll, Kelly and Carra.

None of these have played much, some not at all:

Reina
Johnson
Skrtel
Agger
Aurelio
Ming
Lucas
Gerrard
Downing
Henderson
Suarez
Adam
Kuyt

I don't think any of them have played more than two games have they? Maybe Kuyt, that's about it though.
 
I'm not that concerned. I have great faith (unfounded maybe?) in our current physio and fitness set up, and i think the lads will arrive in peak condition ready to start the season.

Yeah, I agree with that after seeing Carroll yesterday. He looks much slimmer and just needs to get a few goals in the next games and he'll be in the form he was for Newcastle.

The concern is not playing a strong 11 and getting the new players to gel with the rest of the team. That and the usual suspects being out with injury.
But we have two more games to play our strongest team, so lets hope Kenny does that.
