...the unthinkable happened and Jose made himself available in the Summer, declared his love for the club (again) and fancied a bit of a challenge instead of going for a role that more or less guaranteed big money, not quite a return to his Porto days but a chance to manage us in the face or huge competition.. Would you want us to go for him??

Or would you want to stick with Kenny and hope the dream continues and this all ends in the fairytale it and he deserves?
I'd honestly let Kenny decide.

what jose acheived at porto was fantastic but since then he has carefully picked his projects
errrr yes, that's what you can do when you're one of the best. He carefully picks his projects ... and wins.

Heart says Kenny of course.

Head say Jose 100% as someone above said.

I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to have fortress Anfield back.

How long has it been since we heard that phrase?

It's also crazy how people think he hand picks the perfect role?

He gets offered the biggest jobs in football because he is regarded as the best in the game. End of.

City have done f*ck all with more money compared to what Jose did at Chelsea.

Inter couldn't get past anyone decent in Europe.

Jose won virtually every game for entire year with them and every cup. Baffling how people still questin the man.

And most surprising of all people play down the little task of leading Porto (the powerhouse of Europe) to back to back European cups.

Uefa cup followed by CL.

Jose the manager is untouchable in todays game.

Jose the person, well thats a different issue.

Make no mistake if took over Liverpool he's make us more competitive than we have been in years in the league.

I really can't bear to watch Mourihino's grey nullifying teams. He has a great record but it's turgid football, akin to Houllier's/Rafa's final seasons but with more money to throw at a team.

If Kenny Dalglish didn't exist then I'd want Mourinho. But he does, so I don't.

Ditto.

We've all been loving that Kenny has brought back the Liverpool way, and now you want us to piss that all away again?

No one wants us to piss it away, I certainly don't anyway, I just wanted to know if the pull of Jose was stronger than what we've currently got. Everyone wanted him in the Summer. I'd rather stick, but it was worth asking.

Yeah fair enough mate, my post was rather aimed at DB who seems to kiss the ground JM walks on.

I'd honestly rather gamble on an up and coming manager than i would lower our club to accomodate for the slimy bastard, title winner or not.

DB has a lot of strange notions.

Being 100% sure that Paddy would pay ILD the cash he owed him for.

No worries chief, if Kenny weren't here I'd take him in a heartbeat, fwiw, but I can understand peoples misgivings too.

Long live the fairytale though!

Does anybody else get the most wonderful, comforting feeling when they see Kenny standing in our dug-out, in charge..?

Like when your old man came to watch you play football as a kid, or took you to the pictures or out for ice cream... There are some people that were born to be certain things, and Kenny was born to be our best ever player and then our manager.

Is it just me or is he looking younger every week? I was rubbing my eyes against Sparta, as he looked to have shipped a decade.

I'm glad someone else mentioned that Doc. I couldn't understand it last week against Wigan. I was looking at him and thinking exactly the same thing. He looked ten years younger.

He's enjoying himself, and he now has a chance to tie up some loose ends which have probably bothered him ever since he resigned before.
