I am not so sure ... The US has economic 'power' still and no one really wants to play with them, bar the Chinese.
Will be an interesting few months.
I saw someone say that what Canada and Mexico gave was actually nothing new, there are 15,000 troops on the border already and they promised 10,000 as part of this, and Canada had already committed to similar amounts last year, but Trump didn't realise or didn't care as he'd paint it as a win anyway. Not sure if that's true or not.
Everything we announced was already announced in December under Biden.
This has galvanized Canadians like nothing I've ever seen and might even jeopardize the chances of the Conservatives winning the upcoming spring election.

Well, If Cuba was invaded, I doubt Russia would get involved, which we would not want.
If Cuba had nukes, that might stop the us of carving up the Americas according to their own desires.
The best way to stand up to the US would be for nations & their organisations to back China in the AI wars over the US. That is the battleground Trump cares about. The earths and minerals he wants are related to energy, batteries and tech, more so that oil and other fossil fuels etc. I think alliances in the AI/Tech space would scare or worry Donnie more than anything else.
