Who's the next surprise package/breakout star in the league?

Inspired by Rosco's thread, the question asked here is twofold: Who do you think is the next

(1) surprise package, the next Michu. Not the Eriksen's, Lamela's, Soldado's (well, the Spurs squad), but a relative unknown new to the league who didn't cost the earth.

(2) breakout star, the next Pires, a player not new to the league, but has played without distinction or gone under the radar until now, beeping hard and making people sit up and take notice.

For (1), I go with Cardiff's Kim Bo-Kyung and our very own Aspas, and for (2) my picks are Arsenal's Olivier Giroud and Villa's Fabian Delph.

Eriksen cost only 11.5m btw and not many teams fancied him. If he does well I think Spurs deserve to give themselves a pat on the back.

From my knowledge of the new ones:

(1) Okore at Villa.

A magnificent all round defender that by the looks of it has adapted even faster than I would've thought.

(1) Cornelius at Cardiff

Yet to kick a ball in the Prem and got injured almost as he sat foot on Welsh ground, but he has got all the attributes in the locker to become a success in England.

(1) Giaccerini at Sunderland

I am quite amazed he went to a club like Sunderland. Can leave 8 defenders stranded and the curl it into the top corner.

(2) Delph at Villa

Completely with you on this one TSD, has looked amazingly good so far

(2) Dembele at Spurs

I know he may not be a complete unknown and was rather costly, I just don't believe we have seen his levels yet.

(2) Henderson

There's a few signs here and there that he's going to be a star this lad. Could be his break through Season. Mini Gerrard-like.

Both PSG and Atletico had bids accepted late on as well as at least four other clubs and then Spurs too. That's 7 actual bids on the player and then there were loads of inquiries too, simply turned down by the player before bids were even placed. Everton has been mentioned amongst others.

I do agree however that prize wise he could almost be seen as a new "Pires" should he indeed turn out to be a success.
