You're a conspiracy nut. You should be invited to live in a padded cell. There is clearly no difference between those things.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced the FA are picking on him as he waits to hear if he will face any punishment for criticising an official.

Ferguson was furious that linesman Simon Beck did not flag for a penalty in United's 1-1 draw with Tottenham, with the Scotsman convinced Steven Caulker fouled Wayne Rooney in the box.

The FA has until Tuesday evening to decide what action, if any, it will take against him but Ferguson feels he receives unfair treatment from English football's governing body.

"I just think it is more about me than what I've said. Whether I think it is unfair or not doesn't matter to them really at this point," he told The S*n.
Ferguson has submitted his comments regarding his criticism of assistant Beck to the FA and his focus was on the official's performance rather than suggesting there was any bias against United.

"That is what I have put in my letter exactly. But you know the FA," he added.

"You never know. It is one of these things. We are high profile."

When it was put to Ferguson he may not be charged by the FA, he replied: "I wouldn't bet on it."

*Shuffles quietly away from thread*

Has he still not been charged? Why does he need to explain his comments, they seem fairly obvious to everyone I thought.

Him sitting and chatting with his buddies in the stands until te end of our game shows just how much of a narcissistic jerk he is.

I will forever be thankful to Man City for beating QPR at the last minute just so Sir Alex had his title taken away. 🙂

1703: FOOTBALL LATEST
The FA has today [Tuesday 29 January] charged Sir Alex Ferguson in relation to post-match media comments made following Manchester United's game at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday 20 January 2013.
It is alleged the Manchester United manager breached FA Rule E3 in that he implied that the match official was motivated by bias.
Ferguson has until 4pm on Friday 1 February 2013 to respond to the charge.

Lol

The funny thing is Fergie is right - that linesman was shit, but now the kangaroo court of the FA are going to string him up.

Another massive injustice, I'm sure you'll all agree

It doesn't matter if he's right. It's the whole attitude he takes. The ridiculing. And being a condescending intimidating cunt that's the problem.

He was shit, but basically said the linesman had it out for United as he said he remembered the last time they got nothing from him.

Oncy it's clearly all part of the plan, then when Rodgers and Suarez get long bans later this season for something innocuous and both end up leaving it will be clear that Ferguson was playing the "long game".

Yes, we may have sank his battleship but he's upstairs banging our missus. Can you see?
