True but I saw a couple of games where qualifiers were playing and they weren't even throwing to a good pub standard for large parts of their games.
THe funny thing is they would have had to play twice as well to qualify, because the competition to get into the competition is immense.

Klassen looked good again but his finishing will cost him eventually. Rassell gave him far too many chances.

cannot see anyone touching Phil this year Ross, barney only possible contender, no one can average over 100+ but Taylor when it counts.
Makes my christmas/new year, Darts and Worlds Strongest Man ;D
I normally have a small bet on Klassen for these tournaments, he's normally a great price and he's a superb player. Didn't bother this time.

I really enjoyed watching Adrian Lewis geting beat by the lesser known Nickleson (sp?) yesterday. A real ding dong affair, the game swinging both ways, and the crowd being a little unruly. The underdog had several chances to finish it, and did eventually after a few extra legs in the 7th set. Aces.

There have been some cracking matches. Nessie, I actually like Lewis he comes across as cocky on camera but he's a top bloke.
Baxter will be kicking himself after last night, what a game though. It was brilliant. Klassen is making me regret not putting the bet on this time. His finishing is still inconsistent but this isn't beyond him. Van der Voort may as well have gone to bed early, he was poor against Wade who himself was ony workmanlike.
It's difficult to see anyone matching Taylor at the moment.

Fox, van Barneveld is due to meet Taylor in the final. He will have to up his game big time to actually get there though.

I've got all the respect in the world for PT as he is the best.
But I have a tenner on Wade at 16's so for purely financial gain, I want him to win. He's got this far without showing his top form and he's nearly 5/1 to beat Barney in the semi which is worth a punt.
