Is it worthwhile ?.. should we consider it..?

Many subreddits on Reddit and other platforms have decided to no longer allow linking to X / Twitter.

I personally think we should also no longer allow linking to X.

What's the opinion here ?

Not sure what people will do in the transfer window, though!

What - it was ok under Dorsey?
It was *always* a source of disinformation, hate and propaganda ...
I never signed up for twitter/x, and only read/see what is posted/shared by others (here and elsewhere).
Bottom line is *any* media you use, even those you trust, should be fact checked ...
I don't care which way you guys go here - but I suggest we allow the posters to use it in the Footy Forum if you choose to limit its presence on the site.

I don't see the difference between X and any other source of info. Basically, I don't trust pretty much anything anymore. Even the Beeb has disappointed me recently.

So, I think I'm with LTW, I wouldn't selectively ban links to any of the social sites. I personally feel the urge to scour my eyeballs after seeing a TikTok! 😀
