Xabi Xabi la vie

He picked Madrid before we announced slot. In fact the amorim stuff was going on still after xabi agreed Madrid

He stayed at Leverkusen for one more year rather than moving to us and then moved this summer to Real.

There aren't really any facts, but if you want to talk about heavily evidence based claims, what he's proven is that Real Madrid is ran internally by a few fucking awful arrogant shithouse players who have zero discipline and think they can stroll round picking up millions of euros and titles when they feel like it. It doesn't reflect badly on Alonso that Mbappe and his clique are all total fucking cunts.

Xabi could be like Amorim. A coach with great/interesting systems of play but that doesn't know how to manage the dressing room. I mean, who knows why Amorim failed at Man United. He did have huge dressing room problems and was a joke in that regard. Just like Xabi had big dressing problems and was treated as a joke.

And then Amorim was of course stupid to take the MU job in the first place. A n d . s o . w a s . A l o n s o . That speaks to their capacity to think things through. It shows how much they know about football and clubs and managing.

Disagree. Amorim was my or the high way. That's obvious. That's why he failed. Alonso didn't have the gravitas to shut those Madrid cunts up, but arguably no-one outside of ancelotti and Maureen has.

It is not easy to manage Real Madrid. That is true. It is very hard to do so. They have the best players in the world who are very entitled. But it is also true that some people can do it.

Alonso, remember, was a professional footballer for many, many, many years. Who played at Real Madrid. And yet he was clueless about what managing Real Madrid is all about. He was clueless about what was going on in those dressing rooms that he was a part of.

What does that say about him? That he can be a great manager at a big club?

That’s speculative though. Ancelotti was contracted to 2026 and Brazil weren’t yet in the picture in 2024.
Not really. Even I knew he was leaving and I don’t know anything

Really? After winning the league, CL and Copa del Rey in 23/24 you knew he was leaving in 25, impressive.

It was reported in January 2025 that he was leaving.

i could swear i read about ancelotti being in discussions to manage brazil about 5 years ago.

everything about this was chiselled into stone tablet, xabi in no way reacted to a situation. he became part of the plan.

It's a fairly safe bet to say the Madrid will be open in the next year or two, at any point in time. You don't really have to wait too long, maybe only one exception in the last 20 years or so.

the brazil manager denied he talked about taking the brazil manager job in 2023? or are we talking about xabi?

Ancelotti denied talking to Ronaldo (the real one) about it in 2023.
Doesn’t matter as it’s as speculative as the other stuff. And it really doesn’t matter anyway as Xabi is available now.

Hopefully he comes to Anfield.

Really? I was sure he said he was going to madrid. Clearly i've took what i thought at the time was fact. Odd

honestly if xabi honoured a longer term plan to go to madrid instead of jumping to our need fair enough
