I've said it several times before, but the best forward I've ever SEEN play for us is Suarez.
Granted, my first LFC memories were from the late 80s so I missed some greats from the early 80s, 70s and so on.
I've never seen someone with the tenacity, grit, determination, mixed in with genius level intelligence and instinct like that filthy Uruguayan.
I was reminded by it a few days ago when I saw this:

I mean, seriously?!
I take it that we're talking about forwards and not strikers and yes, I'm well aware of Salah's exploits.
We tend to forget that Suarez was a set piece specialist too. How many free kicks did he score?
He was also versatile. His natural position was probably on the left, but he could play on the right and obviously upfront as well.
Maybe you think it's hyperbolic, but he had it all. A complete forward just like Gerrard was the complete midfielder.
Anyway, enough wanking over Suarez, here's my list:
1. Suarez
2. Salah
3. Sadio
4. Torres
5. Rush
6. Owen
7. Fowler ( he'd be higher up if we were talking strikers)
8. Firmino
Left Barnes out cause imo he was more of a winger than a forward.
Forward is an ambiguous term. Are we talking LW, RW, CF, ST? Or are we including LM, RM, AM as well?
My list is based on versatility and ability to create their own chances and assists, more than just pure goal scoring.
