Wednesday October 22: Real Madrid (H)

@LFC: Tuesday November 4: Real Madrid (A)
Wednesday November 26: Ludogorets Razgrad (A)
Tuesday December 9: FC Basel (H)

I'd love to go to an away game in the carling cup, let alone something as majestic as the Bernabeu

Flights to manc for the Real game are €58 from Dublin. Out Wednesday home Thursday

As tempted as I would be to book I reckon tickets would be like rocking horse poo

Yep. I think ticket would be a fluke. If some of the lads at home are up for it id head over. When I win a fortune at vegas ill buy a ticket from a tout.

Very pleased. Two teams which are very beatable and a glamour tie against Madrid. Couldn't have gone better really.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this ... but Legia fans took a pop at Celtic:

The more I think about it, the more I think our group isn't as easy as I first thought. Basel are fucking decent.

Well I'm not sure why people are celebrating.
Real Madrid are by far and away the toughest team to get.
Basel dumped us out of Europe last time we played them.
They also beat Chelsea (twice I think) last season. They are a very good side.
Could have been worse but I certainly am not delighted.
Hopefully Rodgers can hit the ground running with us.
How fucking good is it to be back

Dreamy sounding a warning over a game that happened 12 and a half years ago.

Jesus fucking wept.

Updated with our matches... looking good!

Matchday 6: Dec 6: Sunderland (H) > Dec 9: Basel (H) > Dec 13: Man Utd (A)

** Chelsea play on Nov 5, away to Maribor. No question Mourinho will be whining and moaning about our luck and them having one fewer day's rest.

ARSENAL
MATCH DATES:
Matchday 1: Sep 13: Man City (H) > Sep 16: Dortmund (A) > Sep 20: Aston Villa (A)

Matchday 5: Nov 22: Man Utd (H) > Nov 26: Dortmund (H) > Nov 29: West Brom (A)

** Chelsea play on Sep 30, away to Sporting. No question Wenger will be whining and moaning about Chelsea having one extra day's rest while Mourinho will be groaning about how Arsenal have had an easier time playing at home in midweek while they've had to fly halfway around the world to play in Lisbon.

MAN CITY
MATCH DATES:
Matchday 1: Sep 13: Arsenal (A)** > Sep 17: Bayern (A) > Sep 20: Chelsea (H)**
Matchday 3: Oct 18: Spurs (H) > Oct 21: CSKA (A) > Oct 25: West Ham (A)

Matchday 6: Dec 6: Everton (H) > Dec 10: Roma (A) > Dec 13: Leicester (A)

Sep 13 - Sep 20 is England - Germany Week
** Arsenal travel to Dortmund after the Sep 13 game against City
** Chelsea host Schalke before the Sep 20 game against City

Wenger and Mourinho will be moaning and groaning about having to play tough German teams before/after playing City. The irony will not be lost on them.

CHELSEA
MATCH DATES:
Matchday 1: Sep 13: Swansea (H) > Sep 17: Schalke (H) > Sep 20: Man City (A)
Matchday 2: Sep 27: Aston Villa (H) > Sep 30: Sporting (A) > Oct 4: Arsenal (H)
Matchday 3: Oct 18: Palace (A) > Oct 21: Schalke (A) > Oct 25: Man Utd (A)
Matchday 4: Nov 1: QPR (H) > Nov 5: Maribor (A) > Nov 8: Liverpool (A)

Mourinho will have a moan, just because he has to. Fuck him.

I really hope we don't get drawn with Grimsby Town in any cup competitions this season because the last time we played them 12 and a half years ago in the League Cup we only drew with them 0-0 at home!!!gasp!!

#alarmbells

Of course Dreamie didn't mention what happened the last time we played Real Madrid in the Champions League.

That was during the period Dreamie couldn't stand watching us - he only got excited about our performances again when Roy took over.
