I thought he was better today. His best performance for us was still the first half vs Sunderland though. He needs more of that.

Agree. Thought he was one of our better players first half. Faded in the second though.

Don't think he should play every game but i think the criticism of him is OTT. He's a good player.

To be honest Gary, I don't think your boy Adam is doing too good. I think he's the first player to make way when Stevie is "fully functional".

He's the most obvious player to make way now Gerrard's fit and he'll have to get fit to get back in the team.

Mate, he needs to be playing for a team in the bottom half of the table; cos that's his level.

Adam has ability but needs more stamina. He still runs out of steam and that shouldn't be happening to any professional football player. Squaddie at best.

I'm not a fan. He's too deep for too long during the match - it becomes very frustrating to watch. He also moves the ball far too slowly for me

Seeing as he's used to playing in a free role in a 4-3-3, playing a cm in a 4-4-2 is a bit different.

Has his ups and downs, but has contributed to 2 goals and 2-3 assists in 7 games. Good start.
Doesnt help that both him and his midfield partner are as mobilie as a snowman though.

incredibly frustrating player. we're told he is a set piece expert but there we time when he could have delivered the ball into the box (with andy carroll in there ffs!) and he chose to play it short. when gerrard is back, adam has got to be the player that makes way for him.

My guess is that he was brought in to run the midfield / game for us and so far you'd have to say that he looks pretty incapable of doing that

It's early days however and there have been flashes of ability and quality on show so perhaps he'll settle in better as time passes. Who knows.

He's hardly been awful, he's had a couple of games where he's been shite yeah but he's also got two goals, three assists and however supposedly 'poor' he was yesterday, he still hit the bar and played the ball for the penalty too. It's early days but the way people are talking I wonder what games they've been watching.

Exactly, he could have quite easily had 2 or 3 more goals and assists chalked up.

I don't get the Adam hate.

I don't hate him in the slightest. I just don't think he's doing very well at the moment and his fitness levels are shocking. Still, I'm prepared to allow him time to bed in but I don't think his future long term is any more than that of a decent squad player

Im sure kenny is over the moon that `sunny` is going to give him time. Ha ha bunch of idiots on here support your team

You know what I don't get?
The Lucas hate.

The Adam hate I get.
I don't see any "Lucas hate" since brendan left. What there is on here is a debate, and a perfectly legit one, about how good Lucas actually is.

do shut up motey you tiresome bellend. In fact, you're banned you windup cunt

Anyway, back to the topic I don't get any hate for any Liverpool players myself.

I get the Diouf hate.

Am I right in thinking he played in a midfield 3 at Blackpool (kind of kills my point if I'm wrong)?

Because he looks like that's exactly what he needs to do to thrive in the centre. Playing in a 2 is just too taxing on his natural physical fitness (I don't think he's lazy) and puts too much onus on defensive capability and overall mobility (neither his strong point).

He needs 2 alongside him to share the defensive/physical load to enable him more time to express his undoubted attacking quality.

It's just whether it would also benefit our more important players. IMO a 4-3-3 might well get the best out of Lucas/Gerrard/Adam/Downing/Carroll/Kuyt/Suarez.

Do you mean Arphexad, Sunny? What did he do wrong? Are you getting him mixed up with that shithead who arsed around during the memorial?

Ming's had a great game today, Chavs beating Bolton 5-1 away so far.
See what I'm saying Wizadry?

We'll win the league and a few posters will say, "Ming would have helped us win the league too."

Ask anyone interested in football who doesn't support us who the better player is, Adam or Ming, and they will all answer Ming. I like Adam, I don't think he's playing at his best but he's doing ok. I do think getting shut of Ming was the biggest mistake of Dalglish's tenure tus far.
