Chinese "Devil Virus" - anyone worried?

It's not run by Biden. He's in no fit state to run a candy floss stall at the local care home - did anyone see his barely coherent inauguration "speech"? Look behind him next time he makes any kind of public pronouncement and a pound to a penny says you'll see someone with their hand up his jacksie working his mouth.

Haha. Indeed. It's a rather lean period for US presidents isn't it?

It certainly appears that all Biden really had going for him was that he wasn't Donald Trump. With that in mind, you really do have to worry about the Democrats. I mean, if apparently they could get literally anyone elected, why go for him!

What worries me is the aptness of the glove puppet comparison. I'm afraid I suspect that therein lies the answer to your question. Biden's a cypher and was intended to be.

At this point you'd have to say that novichok would be the most humane way for the transition to happen.

The tough man is probably afraid of needles but daren't have his terrified reaction to it caught on camera.

Both the US and the UK reject the WHO investigation findings.

Now there's a shock.

Well since the head of WHO has come out and said the investigation wasn't thorough enough and another one is needed , they probably have a point

Suffers from the same fundamental problem as the figures on "coronavirus deaths". The stats tell you those people had the vaccine/virus respectively but tell us nothing about whether and, if so, to what extent a causal relationship exists between that and what the stats are supposed to be illustrating.

There's also the nocebo effect, we don't know how many people got a headache or whatever after their vaccination and blamed it on the jab, even though it was possibly in their head. So to speak.

So Boris and the clowns are pushing forward with vaccine passports before everyone has been offered a vaccine.

This is not going to end well.

My mother has had her second AZ jab.

Nothing strange appears to have happened.

The small but still too large minority of vaccine refusers have brought this on themselves and everyone else.

Dead clever that they're using nightclubs in Liverpool at the end of the month to test it when hardly anyone who goes to nightclubs will have been offered the vaccine.

Of course it's too large. A fraction of one per cent is too large. Everyone who refuses it puts their own health and that of anyone with whom they come into contact in increased danger. Without them there'd be no need for such measures and no government would take this kind of political risk unless it reckoned it had to.

Nonsense. If we get to 90%+ vaccinated then the anti-vaxers become irrelevant. The only danger is to the anti-vaxers themselves. And fuck them.

The argument for vaccine passports only makes sense if you do it now with half the country not vaccinated. Once we've all been offered the jab then it would be ludicrous to bring this in. It would be based on politics not science.

But what if they fly to a country with a resistant mutation, bring it back here, and then your vaccine does nothing?

What you need is a rolling list of the most prominent mutations in each country, and a list of the efficacy of each vaccine against those mutations, and then to travel to that country you need to the two lists to be checked and cleared for you. Otherwise there's no point.
