Any updates on his injury so far?

How long is he out for?

Hopefully it's not a tear as he was really playing well and we're a far better team with him at LB.

It's been said elsewhere that a tear is suspected.
A big loss as he was one of our best performers in the last month.

    Awful news.

After Suarez and GlenJo he's been our best player since his return to form.

Really wanted him to play against Utd.

Hopefully the early signs of a tear are wrong.

I hope and pray that we don't have to resort to playing Downing at left back against Utd.

Magic at LB and one of our younger pups at RB........ Surely a better option than Downing???

Move Glenjo to the left, and bring on Wisdom. Simples.
Don't ever want to see Downing at left back Liverpool again.

I'd rather him at Left back with Sterling ahead of him tracking back than Wisdom at RB who got raped time and time again when he was in the team. He's a CB not a RB.

I think you meant to quote my post, anyway...

Let's look at our options. Kelly is out injured. We've got Agger who can play on the left, but from what I've seen he's not too impressive there. He can be brilliant in one game and shite the other.
Then there's Wisdom, Flanagan and Robinson.

As I see it, it's either:

    Wisdom Skrtel Agger Johnson

    or

    Johnson Skrtel Carra/Coates Agger

I reckon we might have a new fullback by the time of the Utd game

Alternatively, we could buy another left back in January or at least get one in loan.

Someone who's reliable and will do a solid job.

Putting Johnson on the left will hurt us in attack immensely.

Good idea, but we haven't figured out 4-3-3 yet by the looks of it and doing 5-3-1-1 all of a sudden worries me.

Whats your alternative to playing Downing who our manager has played at LB a number of times when we have had injuries?

Nice personal insult too for no reason. Classy guy.
