Wasn't the worst penalty. Credit to the keeper, good save. Suppose Dirk could have steered it more into the corner though.
 
Poor show from everybody bar Lucas, who has been excellent. Have a horrible feeling were not gonna score here...
 
get carroll off, it's about movement and breaking down everton. that said carroll will would be useful defending everton set pieces at that will be everton's biggest threat.

Well we're away from home in a derby yet we've dominated play and already came very close to scoring 3 times. How is that awful? How is that creating fuck all?

Yeah Lucas has played well. Slow start but gradually came into it and his use of the ball has been very good.

We'd fucking need to score. No excuses.

Actually I disagree. Everton are not not getting a look in. That last 10-15 mins of total pressure is because Everton have no outlet and can't break/find a man free. Patience and the goal(s) will come we are well on top now and they are down to ten.

Downing can't be immune from criticism either. He was very average in the first half. Expecting a better 2nd from him.
