Lucky to get points vs. Palace and Watford too since they were mostly second best in those games too (Palace had 70% possession FFS) !

An aging defence (Baines, Jagielka and Williams) and it seems Keane, who some on here were advocating we buy, has also been total crap. So much for getting their transfer business done early, which again had some here creaming their pants and asking why we couldn't do the same.

I've had the misfortune of watching every game this season. I'd be utterly amazed if there's a worse side than us in the league. Palace completely dominated us. Almost 70% possession. Over twice as many passes completed. We committed the most fouls of any team in europes top 5 leagues

Honestly we haven't deserved to win a single game this season. Not sure we've even had a half where you'd say we were comfortably the better team.

It's a minor miracle we have the vast total of points we do have. Our performances probably deserve about 3 or 4 in total.

Are they going down ? There's a lot of points to play for as only 1/3 of the season gone but they seem to be in total disarray. Pity we're not playing them this weekend !

I don't think they have a bad squad, and they certainly have some promising kids coming through, and I fear that if they get in a manager who specialises in discipline and organisation they'll soon be hard to beat (and I just hope we play them before they sort that out).

While they have some ability in the squad, their defence is aging fast (look who's talking, do I hear you say?), they have no reliable scoring options further forward and one wonders how much more dosh Moshiri will be prepared to fork out to plug the various holes which have appeared this season. With their decent crop of young players and the right manager fetched in they could rise again, but for my money they're already in the relegation dogfight now.

I think at the moment they could get out the fight if some of their players start performing, because there is talent in there

If I was unsworth I'd start every game with lookman on the wing, as he's pace. Sadly for them the rest of the team isnt good enough.

I haven't seen much of him this season but last season he looked like he had a great mix of technique, fight, desire and footballing brain. I would suspect he is suffering whilst Everton are crashing all around him.

He was very good last season I thought, didn't look like a young player at all. He played with a level of maturity and even scored some goals.

This season perhaps with their glut of attacking midfielders he has been task to play deeper which doesn't suit his game. He is abit like Hendo in that sense, lots of hustling and bustling without really excelling in anything.
