The Premier League does nothing for a reason, to them City spending £100m on wank players like Grealish every summer is a feature of the system not a flaw. The only way the EPL will do anything about this is when viewing figures crater if City start winning 6 or 7 in a row like PSG or Bayern. They don't care if City win but they do need it to be competitive or else people stop watching.
So you're saying its Klopp's fault that City are allowed to get away with it? Sack him now!

The Premier league are doing nothing because they haven't got the stomach for a fight. They waited to see the outcome of uefa's ffa and when cas changed uefa's ruling then everything went quite with the Premier league's investigation. They haven't even the balls to come out one way or the other, instead they seemed to have stopped it.
Because of that, city aren't even bothered now to go to any lengths to even try cover their tracks because they know nobody is going to do anything about it.

Foley isn't afraid to splash the cash. Vegas went to the Stanley Cup Finals in their first year as he invested strong to put a good product on the ice.

Regarding Maciek Kaminski:

Kaminski’s property company, Talon Real Estate Holdings, shows that “it defaulted on several loans and that auditors raised ‘substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern’.”

Going from Moshiri to Kaminski seems like the most Everton thing to do.

Given the weakness of the pound relative to the dollar, I am assuming several US sports franchise owners and venture capitalists will be looking at PL clubs now.

Agree with you, Foley will be a decent owner for Bournemouth.

[article]Tottenham are holding talks with tech giants Google over a naming-rights deal.

The club are looking to secure more money for their recently built Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Now the 62,850-capacity ground could be subject to a naming rights deal that nets Spurs around £25 million-a-year.

Per the Evening Standard, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is working hard on the deal at present.

There have been talks with several American brands in recent weeks and months, including Uber, FedEx and Amazon.

A deal is not yet close, but Levy and Spurs' first ever chief commercial officer Todd Kline are working hard on the negotiations.[/article]

So they do still owe us after all. We should sue their chiselling @rses for it, and add compound interest for the delay.

[article]Among the headline figures owed included Coutinho, with claims made once more that Liverpool were still waiting on an outstanding sum from Barcelona, a remaining £12m (€14m) according to reports.

Barcelona do owe money for that deal, but Liverpool have long since washed their hands of it.

A footnote in Barcelona's accounts for 2019/20 stated: "Liverpool Football Club has factored with a financial institution its right to collection."

What that means is that the Reds sold the remaining transfer debt that was owed to them to a financial institution, realising the cash to hand them some working capital during the financial uncertainty at the onset of the pandemic.

"It is fairly common to have these things done in business," explained football finance expert Kieran Maguire and author of The Price of Football' told the ECHO last year.

"Barcelona still technically owe the money to Liverpool, that is why is shows up as such in the accounts, but what happens is that the money is paid and Liverpool then send that on to the third party who has bought the debt.

"Liverpool have received all the money owed for Coutinho, but Barcelona have not yet paid it all."

While the Barcelona accounts may still highlight monies owed to the Reds, the truth is that from a Liverpool perspective that is a deal that has long been settled.[/article]

So how can barca still owe money on the Coutiniho transfer and still be allowed to buy players? I thought that uefa had rules in place about this? Or is it because we sold the debt on to a non football entity that its different
And surely barca should have been forced to use the 20m villa payed them for coutinho to pay off this debt....

It's not hard to appreciate the concerns they have in other leagues. The amount of money in the PL now is insane.
