I didn't do a Paddy!
Thanks Sunny.
That worked out well, just returned to Belfast.
Few things of note:
-Sunny is a gent, he should be a ambassador for the city, he couldn't have been more welcoming and introduced me to some interesting folks (Special mention for Bobby, another great character). He also gave me his seat in the Kop which was another touch of class.
-The King Harry is a great pub, I was expecting something run down for some reason.
-I was always confused as to why a Rafa, a wealthy guy who could pick anyplace in the world to live, with any climate would decide to live somewhere like Liverpool instead of Madrid or some sunny place until this weekend. Just about every person I encountered over the weekend went out of their way to help me. There was a thread recently about Liverpool being the friendliest city in the UK and that was definitely the case in my experience. Great city, great people, I'll be making more of an effort to get over. Even just the small things from service in a pizzahut or somebody passing on a day ticket for the bus. Then there was the couple who saw me carrying a sleeping child down the road at 9pm and pulled over to give me a lift. People just don't do that in Belfast.
And thanks again Sunny, we are lucky to have him!
