And few things would make a player react that much, when the player is black I would be a fair assumption no matter what had happened weeks previously.

Decent. Some good and some bad, got caught out a few times though. Looked rusty and in need of match practice. As did Carra.

Some wanted Bellamy charged for calling the Newcastle keeper a "dutch cunt".
 
I have to say, bar the first goal, that was some nice goals we scored today. Gerrard's penalty was superb, Shelvey's goal was tidy, well worked by Bellamy, great strike from Carroll, and - seeing it again - Downing shows great technique for his goal as well. Now that he has scored I have no idea what to do for my avatar though. Who else needs a goal?

The fan base was weird as fuck last night. Not your usual crowd. I was surrounded by loud mouthed sweary bellends taking photos every 5 minutes. Your typical know it all twats who go to a match every 3 years. Woman behind me was like Margi Clarke on PCP

True, I know I'm not that way, but I don't like people thinking we're all a bunch of racists. Makes me feel uncomfortable

Seems we've done our best to ruin our reputation over the last 14 months
 
well, i've tried my best not to follow the whole suarez thing, so i'm not very well placed to comment, but i do suspect we've handled it pretty cack-handedly. the t-shirts thing was beneath us, i think, and doesn't reflect well on the club, nor indeed on the incident last night.

but, and at the risk of being crass, i think it'll all be forgotten pretty quickly and there'll be no lasting damage done to our reputation.
 
No ways. Oldham fans singing 'You're just a town full of racists' last night was the first verse in a song that will ring round Anfield for years.
 
ok, i take the point, but i was more referring to our general reputation in society at large rather than among deliberately provocative away fans.
