Yeah, but that guy is puzzled by everything: crisps, tasting crisps, eating crisps, swallowing crisps. It's all like some new adventure. And he just cannot understand how crisps can be chicken crisps without a crispy chicken inside the bag. As he puts it: 'WEIRD!'
