Sadio Mane has admitted he wants to stay at Liverpool for the rest of his career.
Senegal international Mane, who is currently contracted until 2023, moved to Anfield from Southampton for £34million in 2016 and has since scored 68 in 136 appearances. During his time at the Reds, winger Mane has has played in two Champions League finals, winning one, and come runners' up in the Premier League. He doesn't want his time on Merseyside to come to an end, having become an integral part of Jurgen Klopp's side and a popular member of the Reds' family.
"I am very happy to be part of this great club and I enjoy it," Mane told Norwegian broadcaster TV2. "Hopefully I stay here forever. I've been to some clubs around the world, but Liverpool is unique. It's like a family. The mood is always incredible. But it's normal that we've been together for four years and know each other. We are also together off the field and that is important for morale."
Mane has formed an impressive trident with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino - with the trio smashing in 125 goals between them in three seasons together. And Mane has described what it is like to work alongside the Salah and Firmino, and gives an insight into their personalities away from the pitch.
"It's easy to work with them. Personally, I feel lucky to get to play with them. They are really good players and make everything easier. Mo is fun sometimes. He is a cool and nice guy. Bobby is very shy. He is the most shy football player I have ever met, but very nice."
