Do you have a "distance covered" stat for out players from the Stoke, Villa, Man U game?

@Binny

I'm afraid heat maps are the closest I had come across with regard to this. Would be interesting indeed if we can find exact figures.

- Gerrard has won 7 tackles so far this season, Fabian Delph and Joel Ward are the only Englishmen who have managed more.

- Lucas Leiva has won 13 tackles so far this season. This is more that any other player in the Premier League.

- David Silva became the fourth player to surpass the 100 pass barrier for completed passes in the opponent’s half last weekend, suggesting a return to form for the diminutive Spanish midfielder. Perhaps even more crucially, these have come at a rate of 1.7 minutes on the field per pass, the lowest of any player in the league who has completed more than 60 passes. Silva also currently stands as City’s sharpest shooter in front of goal this season, with 75% of his 4 attempts on goal testing the keeper.

13 - No-one has attempted more shots (inc. blocked) than Everton's Ross Barkley so far this season in the Premier League.

27 - Cristiano Ronaldo is the player who needs the most shots (incl. blocks) to score a goal in the Spanish League.

- @camilozuniga18 has completed the most dribbles (11) after the first 2 Serie A matchdays.

- Hernanes has attempted the most shots in Serie A this season (9), hitting the target with each of them.

- André Ayew has made 13 successful dribbles in Ligue 1 2013/14, more than any other player.

- Since joining the Eredivisie in June 2010, Dusan Tadic has created 377 chances, 72 more than any other player.

Christian Benteke wins more aerial duels per game (10.3) than any other PL player.

Cardiff play the fewest short passes per game (270) of any team in the PL. Gary Medel has the best pass completion rate (90.7%) of any Cardiff player this season.

Chelsea have made fewer interceptions (20) this season than any other PL club. In contrast, Manchester United have made 53.

Chelsea are putting in fewer crosses per game (11) than any other PL side this season.

Only Swansea and Everton attack down the right-hand side less than Chelsea (32%).

Everton have had more shots this season (55) than any other PL club but have scored just two goals. They have allowed the fewest number of shots (19).

Stoke's six points from three games represents their best start to a PL season. Mark Hughes has increased Stoke's pass completion success from 70.2% last season to 78.7% this season.

Only Yaya Toure (267) has made more passes this season in the PL than José Cañas (236).

27 - Cristiano Ronaldo is the player who needs the most shots (incl. blocks) to score a goal in the Spanish League.

I'm quite surprised about that, whenever I watch him he doesn't seem to be more wasteful than Suarez who seems to need a bucketload to score.

France
[article]Mathieu Valbuena is the only player to have played in each of the 13 France games under Didier Deschamps era.

None of the 4 left-backs used by Deschamps with Les Bleus has registered a single successful cross (40 attempts).

Karim Benzema has made 58 shots since his last goal (5 June 2012 against Estonia).[/article]

Premier League
[article]Nearly half (28/57 - 49%) of the goals scored so far this #BPL season have come in the final half hour.[/article]

27 - Cristiano Ronaldo is the player who needs the most shots (incl. blocks) to score a goal in the Spanish League.

Can that be right? He averages a goal a game for RM so does that mean he is having 27 shots a game on average?!! Surely not..

It must be wrong, otherwise it's saying he's the worst striker in the league as everyone needs less shots than him to score? For him to get a hattrick he'd need 81 shots!! lololol

27 - Cristiano Ronaldo is the player who needs the most shots (incl. blocks) to score a goal in the Spanish League. Quantity.

Freek kicks taken into consideration?

There's no way he averaged more than 10 shots a game over the season, which means it's 10 shots per goal or there abouts. I imagine it's slightly better than that.

Middlesbrough (3-2 in 1998/99) were the last newly-promoted side to win at Old Trafford in the Premier League.

Sergio Agüero has had 29 touches inside the opposition's area so far this season; more than any other Premier League player.

It's a terrible, terrible situation for a team to have to carry players like them. Need all those shots to score from chances created out of nowhere all on their own. Plus those stupid runs they make to get them into prime positions receive the final ball. Horrible. They even create goal scoring opportunities for their teammates. *Gasp*

I don't understand how anyone expected us to accept less than what was paid for Cavani. He is *clearly* the superior player with much more to his game.

Chelsea's 7 points after 4 PL matches is the WORST start for the club in the Roman Abramovich era (Jul 2003).

2013-14 is already Aaron Ramsey's most prolific season for Arsenal with five goals.
