The welsh race has been through a lot of trials we should be somewhat respectful.

Dalglish on Bellamy: "If City have got any more like him that they want rid of, we're only down the East Lancs Road

I don't think he was in this sort of form the 1st time round , he was in and out of the team and never fully settled . He said himself that under Rafa it didn't feel like he imagined Liverpool should but that it does this time under Kenny . So he's happy and playing out of his skin . I said a few weeks ago that i really hope we win something for him, would mean a massive amount to him .

He's funny who he plays for. Mark Hughes got the very best out of him - leading to us signing him - but it now appears Dalglish is doing exactly the same.

Best signing of the Premiership.

If we get beat on sat it's cos him & Suarez aren't playing.

He was a fucking revelation tonight. I love the wee welsh cunt.

This is the part that I think is really important. Was going to say something in the match thread but got side tracked on other threads.

I don't think it ever really occurred to me that he could lead the line the way he did tonight. Suarez has always looked like the player who should be playing just behind the lead striker; I think Bellers has just shows off very clearly who should be that lead striker whenever possible. He's by far our most lethal, prolific striker and we've had pretty much zero opportunity to play Gerrard, Bellers and Suarez in the same team with an attacking formation.

Fate has probably got something worked out to ensure it doesn't happen but I'm currently looking forward to seeing what that might mean for us in a couple of games time.

I've had man love for Bellers all the way back to his Newcastle days. I love his intensity, his pace, his guile, his spirit. He's really coming into his own this season and not only has he been Kenny's shrewdest acquisiton, he's also perhaps our best player this season on a results-to-time-spent-on-the-pitch basis.

I love the crazy fuck. One of my fondest memories as a Liverpool supporter is the golf swing celebration after combining with Riise for a well-taken goal at the Nou Camp. As everyone else has already lamented, if only he wasn't getting on in years with fucked knees. But managed well (in terms of when and how to rest him, as well as specialised routines to keep him fit and healthy) he could be an important player for us for two or three more seasons after this one.

Love him.

We really showed tonight that we master the 4-2-3-1 much better with a pacy energic man upfornt.... And what a performance he put in!! Great stuff Craig!!

He's everything you'd want in a Liverpool player, feisty, energetic and a winner. He really does give his all and deserves a medal. I hope he gets it.

Whatever the ending of that sentence, Tevez is one they are trying to rid off. 25 million would be a good buy!

Yeah, but let's face it, it's getting smaller this wants out area isn't it?!

First Argentina, then anywhere in south America, then, oh ok, Spain, cos they speak Spanish too, then, oh alright, Italy, cos its closer to Spain than England, now it's, oh england will do, just not the north west.

To jump from that to, 'anywhere but Manchester' isn't a massive reach!

Tevez has been a nightmare for the management of every club he has ever played for. He is permanently dissatisfied. I wouldn't touch him with a bargepole - even on a free transfer! ;D

I had the pleasure of being at the game last night and i can’t tell you in words how f**king amazing Craig was. He was out on his feet by half time because of how much work he put in but still had it in him to fight like a c*nt throughout the second half.

He was immense!! what a standing ovation he got when he was subbed!!

take a bow lad!

He's shown the same quality and the same fighting spirit all season long, but in Luis' absence it's really come into the spotlight. I'm tempted to say he's already done enough to be my Player of the Season, but let's hope there's more and better to come from some of the others as well.

I think I mentioned this last night but can't remember among all the excitement. There was one stage last night, (about the 75th minute maybe) that it looked like he had to tell Henderson to keep on running down the wing for the overlap. Did anyone else notice this? It was as if Henderson would never of thought of it on his own accord.

do you guys really want a player who refused to play? that's the lowest of the low.
[/quote]

One of the Moneyball criteria is looking for troubled players and solving their problems for them. If it were possible to detach Tevez from that leech Joorabchian, who I'm convinced is behind a lot of what we've seen from Tevez over the years, it might be worth a punt.

That was Kuyt was it not?

Anyway, as for Bellamy, cult hero status now. Can't help but love to the little man. he's got better with age, no doubt about that.

His all round game is much better compared to when he was with us the first time(still shouldn't have been sold tho).

If a mad cap like Cantona could turn around Man U's fortune, maybe we need a mad cap like Tevez if Suarez is not mad enough?

The guy clearly loves being at Liverpool, probably never thought he'd get the chance again and is making the most of it. Good luck to him. If only every player was like that.

As for Tevez, we won't be signing him of course but whatever anyone says, if the chance was there I'm sure they'd take it. Yes he is a cunt with an even bigger cunt of an agent but he's an amazing player.

look at the size of them. Proper David vs Goliath stuff.

I have to say that I wasn't at all enamoured with Bellers resigning for us and I seem to recall that I predicted that he would be one of the ones that we would be trying to move on next summer a la Joe Cole the previous one.
I didn't think that he was anything special for us during his first spell with us and in fact was clearly a disruptive influence and there was nothing he had to offer us this time round.
I am very glad to admit that he has been an exemplary signing, always giving his all while on the pitch and being a great pro all round.
I like to think that some of this is down to the man management skills of Kenny but I am also very happy to say well done Craig.
He truly has been an excellent signing this time round.
