Think they removed the one with the max number of steps and replaced it with the 7 second rule.

I was trying to find it in the rulebook, but gave up after half a page.

Yep, exactly this. Up until quite some time ago, the keepers used to only be allowed take something like 4 steps (this was never enforced either BTW), and then they changed it to 6 seconds.

It was also weird to see a foul throw given - probably because at school we had a sports master who was so obsessed with foul throws we all ended up too terrified to throw the ball at all, I always notice these things and it's very rare they get penalised. The same goes for the keeper releasing the ball just a fraction beyond his area - was Reina at Bolton the last time that was penalised? Refs and their assistants just seem to keep these old rules back for the odd day when they feel nostalgic.

Didnt the Newcastle goal come from that foul throw decision?

Should add on double the time

Krul really was a bellend yesterday. It pissed me off that the ref blew up before the 4 mins was up despite Krul having been wasting time in injury time.
