I always like a flutter on this but don't wanna back a favourite..........i.e. I'm looking for an outsider (25/1+) with a realistic chance of being involved on the last day..........any suggestions.

Having said I'm looking for an outsider bet I'm strangely also tempted by the Evens on offer that one of, Speith, McIlroy, Day, Scott or Watson win.

Fowler or Bubba for me but there's some nice value bets this year.
Snedekker has some very good Augusta form and is back playing well this season he's around 66-1 general.
Justin Thomas is a cracking young player and has hired a coach that knows every slope of Augusta.
Thomas is my main bet I got him at 125-1 about 2 weeks ago think he's about 100-1 now.

Cheers Leo, I'll stick a fiver on each of Snedekker and Thomas although I'd love to see Speith, McIlroy and Day battling it out on the last day.

Ive backed, Fowler (20/1), Matsuyama (40/1) and Patrick Reed (50/1).

    All Each Way.

Expecting Day or McIlroy to win it, but the odds are far too short for a tournament like this.

    I've currently backed..

    Speith - nuff said.
Cabrera-bello - one of the form players in the world right now - 175-1 - although 1st timeplaying so prob not gonna do well.
Cabrera - loves the course(won twice) and at 200-1 and paying 8 places worth a shot.
Ryan Moore - plays well at augusta and 125-1

I've done some golfers in an e.w. double with some horses in the Grand National.
One paying 7 places. The other paying 6 places.

Cheers Dahuge.............I stuck £5 on Cabrera-Bello @ 120/1........obviously there are a few others who fancy his chances; he was 270/1 a few weeks ago and 200/1 a few days ago but his price has come in quite a lot over the last few days.

    200-1 is massive.
Obviously his lack of course experience is a negative but he's going to be a star this kid.

I take it you can bet on players to finish in the top 3/whatever?

On Betfair the options are Top 5, Top 6, Top 10 or Top 20 or can back/lay a golfer to make the cut.

I should have posted this on Wednesday - i backed Mickelson and Dechambeau.

Dechambeau is an amateur but a really interesting character - i heard about him on a podcast on Tuesday and liked the sound of him. So i threw 2.50 each way on him @ 300/1.

The US masters is my favourite major just because I can collapse on the sofa all night with an industrial size bag of pistachios and various bottled beers and watch the story unfold. Anyone know what price Willet was at the start? In hindsight Willet had an obvious chance of winning given that he was ranked 12th in the world but his name never registered with me other than I knew he'd won a few minor tournaments in recent years.

Cheers for the Snedekker tip Leo, at least he gave me a run for my money.

66/1 at the start mate, probably could have got 80/1 on Betfair.

Absolute madness that last night, the lad showed some bottle to hole that birdie on 16 and then his chip on 17 also.

Quite enjoyed watching Spieth self destruct. Genius player, but I just can't take to him for some reason. Probably cos he's American :)

Just read Rosco's post, 66/1 in most bookies by the looks of it.
