The fixtures are out tomorrow. Apart from seeing when we play the scum or blueshite I look at first game, Boxing Day and last game of the season.

Who do you want on those days?

1st - Villa
Boxing Day - Brighton
Last - Bournemouth

Burnley away is a bit of a cunt of a fixture to start the new season.

Not ideal, by any means. However, we looked so much more adept at negotiating this kind of fixture last season. Let's hope that continues into this.

Never quite understand why there are no massive derby games on first day. Us v everton or united. United v city, arsneal v spurs etc....

Because people are excited enough to watch first match of the season anyways, regardless of who is playing. TV wants to save big fixtures for later to keep viewership up.

The supposed random system isn’t random. It has parameters to stick to and one is no massive derby games first or last game of the season.

Yeah, there was a 442 article about it a f3w years back, the parameters are very many & varied. The amount of permutations that are involved are nuts. Yet they still manage to put us against Southampton at a kick off time that means the trains have stopped running by full time.

If it is Burnley - they got better towards the end of the season after they had recovered from their Europa League fatigue. We'll likely be going there with only 1 of the front three in a good state of fitness, could be a very tough one.

1st weekend or two is always a cluster fuck for form etc anyways , so not too fussed who we play , think the charity shield the week prior will give us the edge against whoever

Talkshite reckons this is wrong. They said "west ham are in for a cracker". Watford is not a cracker

First game against City, home on November 9th.

Just looked at the fixtures and they all look easy. Think they'll be after 38 wins

We play Friday, Man U Chelsea on Sunday. Then we play Chelsea on Tuesday in the Super Cup.

That looks a bit weird, yeah?

Final 3 games

Us
Arsenal away
Chelsea home
Newcastle away

City
Bournemouth home
Watford away
Norwich home

One set is much harder than the other there.
