I don't know what more to say.

Man U are in 5th and we have more than double their points. There are no words to describe how amazingly we're playing.

To top it all, we're not even playing our best are we?

I can't get used to looking at the table. 22 points clear. What a team...

This season is so good that its unreal, I look at the table and cant believe it. It does not compute. We are just fantastic.

United and the other normal top 3-6 teams are doing worse than normal, but what about City? Are they actually much worse than normal?

It’s a freak season where the leaders are above and beyond every other team in the league, I’ve followed football since the eighties and not seen a season of domination like this at least up to this point to the season, hope we carry on in the knockout stages of the champions league.

We are Liverpool and we don't fuck about...

Could we win the CL/Super Cup and another World Club Championship..? The way we are playing at present I wouldn't bet against it..

But It would love to see us not just win them this season, but the next as well, three-peat

This league season is a bit strange compared to other seasons. We're in match week 25 and the teams between 4th place and 6th aren't even close to averaging 2 points per game!
25 games played and Chelsea has 41 points, Sheff U 36, Man U 35.
I think it's unprecedented.
Seriously the 5th placed team in the premier league has 36 points, that's not even 1.5 points per game.
We're fucking killing it don't get me wrong, but I have to say, the Premier League teams bar us, Man C and maybe Leicester are fucking crap this season.

Not sure if this has been said - but my son pointed out to me today that one more win guarantees us Champions League next season. It's February 1! We just have an outstanding group of men in our team, and are led by a truly remarkable man. I still believe City have the stronger squad and should be right up there with us due to their ability to rotate with less of a drop off. But I am sure they don't have the level of togetherness Klopp has brought about at Liverpool. These are special times - savour them!

I'm not convinced by this argument in the slightest.

The points per side aren't great, but imo that's cos so many sides are of decent quality.

The pressure that used to be on sides to sell their best players to better sides isn't there as much, so we've not seen anywhere near as many transfers upwards.

There's a definite argument to be made that the 'usual top 6' (excluding us) isn't as strong, but I think loads of the teams below them are pretty strong & of a very similar level to each other.

I'm sure if you compare the likes of sheff Utd, wolves, Watford's teams to those in the top leagues elsewhere the English sides will look stronger.

The teams at the bottom of the league aren’t that bad compared to seasons gone by. Plus this season follows on from 2 English teams being in both the europa cup and champions league finals

Wolves and Manure looked like two shit sides last night, but they've both beaten City twice recently. It's just that we're fucking ace

Man U and Wolves have gone head to head a few times recently. I think Wolves just killed the game by denying United room to counter in and since that is the only game they have it was dead from minute 1

That's a good point, the part about the gap between the mid-level teams and the top 6 not being so big anymore.
The top 6 still have more money a bigger fan base and the infrastructure to attract top talent. Man U should beat Burnley at home for instance. This season has been unusual.

Anyone look at the table and wonder why Arsenal have become a shower of shit. Only 6 wins this season and below Everton.

So. . . Now that City lose to the Spuds, we can win it all at Goodison. . . What a fucking end to the 30 year drought that would be.
