Early days I know, but gonna put my £13.64 on one of the following:

* Clay to win the Decathlon at 1/4 (returns £17.05)
* Idowu to win the Triple Jump at 8/13 (returns £22.03)
* Bekele to win the 5000m at 13/8 (returns £35.80)

Tempted to put my 70p winnings from my Prediction League bets on as a treble if I can.
I decided to go with Clay, luckily I didn't go with Idowu.

Might refrain from betting on football at the moment, don't seem to be having much luck.

Fingers crossed, by the end of today, my pot will be £17.05

First one up, now £22 laying Fulham win v Arsenal to win £3
Really bad start to the season. Bank down to £82, putting full balance laying Wigan against Chelsea to win £9.20 and then, if succesful, the new balance of £91.20 laying 0-0 score in City v West Ham match to win £9.12

Bank now upto £103.18 after commission (Betfair).

Edit: £38 laying the Notts County victory at Wigan - to win £4.

Balance £17.05, thinking of going for an accumulator on

Barcelona, Juevntus, Arsenal and Marseille to qualify for the Champions League.

Made another 70p on my Piedro's Prediction League bets, still on a loss of 60p though!

Up to £15.71 against a target of £24.60.

Not going to panic as I did last season though, just try and increase towards the target slowly and aim to be back on target by the end of september.

You've been robbed Livvy, that game could easily have finished 4-3.

My next bet is a lay of Hull City to win both halves against Wigan - £99.20 wins £10.91

Bank now at £110.

£44 lay of Spurs victory at Chelski to win £4

Bank at £21.38 against a target of £26.88.

Won just over £1 trading in-play on the Nadal match yesterday evening and topped that up with £1.48 on by backing Murray for £3.

Still on course to be back on target by the end of the month.

Bank at £18.03 against a target of £30.25.

Lost £3 last night backing Andy Roddick against Djokovic. Thought Djokovic was carrying too many injuries and the Roddick at 2.44 looked overpriced. Nevermind, I win it all back when Andorra beat England! ;)

Bank at £114 which is considerably below the 3% target but I am in profit and should be between the 1% and 2% targets by Sunday. I still am aiming for 3% but unlike last season i am prepared to wait for bets I like instead of betting on things like the Johnstone's Paint Trophy etc.

Apparently the site will be "off" at various points over the weekend so in advance my bets will be.............

£50 on England to win £1.50
£64 on Serbia to win £3.20
£3 on Chester to beat Bury wins £7.50
£21 lay of Macclesfield win v Luton to win £7.12

i've decided to stick a silly international accumulator on:

Armenia v TURKEY
Albania v SWEDEN
Andorra v ENGLAND
Malta v PORTUGAL
ROMANIA v Lithuania
CROATIA v Kazakhstan
SERBIA v Faroes
Cyprus v ITALY
Liechtenstein v GERMANY
SPAIN v Bosnia
BELGIUM v Estonia

Odds of around 7.8

Let down by Romania! And only a late late winner from Italy got them a win.

Back down to just over £12 after a disasterous weekend.

Never mind, once again I'm not panicking and am just going to carry on as before.
Looking at the Ospreys v Blues game tonight. Think the Ospreys are just favourites due to the Home advantage and the side Cardiff have named.

Will look at the odds this evening.

I'm beginning to panic as I am below £100 and not even close to the 2% or 3% target. Desperation is setting in and as a result I am sorry to say my Welsh friend I am putting my remaining bank on Russia to beat your lot tomorrow £94.70 to win £30.30 and IF that wins the new balance goes on Italy to beat Georgia which will win £18.75.

If both these bets win then I am back to a decent total and every chance of getting above the 2% by Sunday - if not then I hope it is the Welsh that screw up my bet rather than the Georgians (although Georgia winning would be a great result for Ireland, so actually if the first be loses then I hope the second one does too).

I really don't think you've much to worry about where Wales winning is concerened. We have *no* strikers and Koumas is out.
I need to be at £36 by the end of the month to be on target - Definitely achievable I think.

Won £4.66 last night backing less than 37.5 points in the Ospreys v Cardiff game. Traded the bet just after half time to get the profit, which was just as well as a last minute try by Cardiff meant the total points were 42 in the end!

Made a mistake in my last post - need to be at £65.24 at the end of the month to be on target which is going to be tricky.

Currant bank at £16.66 against a target of £35.07.

And one last one tonight - Laying Peru victory v Argentina - £140 to win £20. Obviously this bet only stands if the first 2 bets come in as by then my bank will be about £142.

Edit: Great stuff - all 3 bets won and now my bank stands at just over £160 which is already above the 2% target set for Sunday and gives me a realistic chance of getting back towards the 3% target.

Better than me then.

I went for over 1 goal in the NI v Czech game.

Balance now stands at £0.00. D'oh!

Will start again at the beginning of October after I've been paid.

Bank just over £160

£40 Lay of Millwall victory at Leicester to win £7.15
