well.. i now have 2p left in my bank..
I backed the Milan draw in play for a couple of quid and when they scored, I then lumped the balance on Sevilla - thinking that Milan would now win. Only just seen that they drew in last minute.

Bank now £23.02 v target of £10.61

Did warn you about backing teams who are only one up. The curse of the late goal.

haha, i saw your warning after i'd made the bet.. would have done it anyway though!

bad bad times.

will start again tonight, quite enjoying it and dreaming of a million.

Yep its just a laugh when all is said and done. And really you only lost a tenner.

Bank is now £22.97 versus a target of £11.26

So I'm on Day 4 but in terms of the balance I'm on Day 28. That will surely slow down over time if I continue to be successful.

I was in Czech for a week and never had a chance to place bets so will start again at the weekend rather than try and catch up with my target by "chasing" as that would be a sure-fire recipe for disaster.

I'm back on this again - I got up to £60ish last month but needed the money so withdrew it.

Started last night with a Tenner and whacked the lot on Arsenal's kiddies to beat Wigan.
Bank is £19.69 against a target of £10.30.

This gives me plenty of scope to choose my bets very carefully from now on!

This time next year...

Went for over 1.5 goals in the Spurs - Liverpool match last night.

Bank now at ~£25. Was up to £27 but put £2 on us to win whils we were at silly odds (180.00) with 10 mins to go.

Never mind.

Going well so far.

£100 on United to beat Stoke, then full bank on Chelsea not to lose to WBA and the new full bank on Celtic not to lose to Hamilton.

If all bets correct my new balance should be about £130.

Up to £38 after the weekend thanks to the Aussies and NZ beating England and Ireland respectively.

Might wait until next weekend now before placing any more bets.

Bank £130

£27 lay of Scunthorpe victory at home to leicester to win £20.

Got my one up to £90 and then banked cos I needed the cash!

So I've started again with £10 and so far today I'm up to £33. Going to back the Aussies at 1.13 for the RL World Cup tomorrow.

Unlucky on the ruggers, Spion.
Ha, didn't back it in the end. Read about bad weather conditions late yesterday so swerved it! Nearly backed Del Potro in the tennis last night as well.

Still plenty of chances to blow it today ;D

Jammy bugger!

I could so do with a sixth sense ( well the first 5 first maybe) when it comes to gambling :'(

But I didn't see our game being a nil nil! So I'm back where I started again!

Bank at £150 against a target of £143.

Forest 1-0
They started with 3 up front and Barnsley's defence is always porous so it looked a decent bet.

Bank at £168 which is ahead of target.

Bank at £168 against a target of £165.

£2 on over 4.5 goals in our game against West Ham tonight to win £13

That was the worlds most optimistic bet, I think.

By optimistic I'm assuming you meant worst. I am being ultra-cautious this time around and was a bit bored with the lack of decent "certainties" to bet on so I spunked away £2 on the forlorn hope that an early goal might open the floodgates!!

Just one bet over the weekend by the looks of things........

£166 on Scum to beat Sunderland to win £28.22 which, if successful, will put me marginally ahead of target.

Not really, I was praying they wouldn't score - I still would have been in profit over the weekend and it would have been great for our league chances.

Had a small lay of Ipswich Town yesterday which netted a profit of £6.60.

Bank now bang on £200 against a target of £197.
