What’s the rationale for Coutinho - his sale value?

Hard to choose from Alonso, Hyppia, Mane, Torres and even Robbo (you could make a case for both Raheem & Sterling as well) and Firmino as well.

Actually, given how it ultimately ended up - Hendo is a pretty good shout as well.

So many ways to look at it......Suarez is the best we've had in the last 25 years easy. Virgil and Ali have to be included really as they double handedily took us from obscurity into CL finals and Prem contenders straight away and Cou has to be included simply because he funded that. Robbo is there because he's without doubt the best value signing ever.

It's you list and your reasons... So it could be how they carried the club, it could be resale value... you just clarify if you need to or if asked. I chose Courtino even though at the time I was livid, in the cold hard of day, without his transfer we would not have been able to get VVD and Alisson.. an £8m signing turned into £140m signing. Inadvertently he played his part in getting those trophies
