Ye but come on jon any player that wants to succeed having had a shit 4 months fitness wise would wanna do all he can to get back to his best. Maybe dalglish was double bluffing to see if he was really committed. Like when the missus says ye go on do it but you really know shes saying no.

Quite possibly, but still, you'd be able to say t the missus, 'but you said I could'.
His heart definitely isnt here, but I'm hoping there's plans to get him firing & fit, & show him how supportive our fans are when you put the effort in.

I said the same a few months earlier but i'm starting to wonder if they are doing anything special at all . Sometimes i wonder what the fuck they do in training , surely each individual player gets analysed for what needs improving rather than always just group training .
i refused to believe the Carroll signing was just a pure panic buy at the time , i knew they wanted to show they were not a selling club and willing to buy but i thought someone (probably kenny) really wanted him . But so far it's been a clusterfuck with the worse part being that he doesn't look to fit in the style they want to play , so why did they even buy him? ...actually that might be a load of shite , he's probably just not good enough or mobile enough . And i really wonder if he has the drive to be here and do what is expected of him ....again i don't understand why they didn't consider this when buying him .
Whatever , for 35 fucking million a striker should be starting most games and getting goals . No excuses from the club or player .
