Barca are charging 119 euro a ticket for the CL for travelling Liverpool fans. 31 more than Liverpool. In return Liverpool have decided to charge Barcelona fans the same and use the additional 31 euro to subsidise their fans tickets for the away game.

Small gesture but I love it.

I don't like it - the Barcelona pricing is ridiculous, but the people who suffer from this approach are the Barcelona fans who now have to pay more. Hitting one set of fans to help your own fans is not the best way (unless, of course, they're mancs).

Sure I heard Barca are now going to subsidise their fans. Just charge the correct price and stop being twats

Well if that really does happen then the tactic worked, much to my surprise. But, as you say, having a pan European fair price policy for away fans would be much easier

Aren't Barcelona owned by the fans? It's in their power to tell the club to stop charging too much.
