I am entirely blameless. These enemies of yours, I used to disagree with them too long ago about the existence of God. They were wrong, but I never reacted by fact checking them, abusing them, insulting them, treating them like scum, mocking their stupidity, or anything of the sort. Twitter and the like are on a hiding to nothing by banning Trump - he should've been banned ages ago but can understand the reticence to censor. The ability for private companies to effectively de-platform a sitting president raises all kinds of difficult questions.

It’s weird though. The way things were until recently, people like Murdoch basically decided who got elected through their control of papers and TV. You only got a platform of people like him wanted you to have it. Social media changed that a lot and allowed unfiltered stuff to go straight into the veins of the masses. And look where it got us. People are simply too dumb.
