From Tony Barrett:

Liverpool expect to appoint Alex Inglethorpe, Tottenham Hotspur’s youth-team coach, as reserve-team manager in a reshuffle in which Rodolfo Borrell will take on the role of academy technical director.

Is this a good thing?

I don't knw how the the club structures its employees. Is Borrell wasted in that position or is he going to make everything betteR?

I think he's fantastic: he's a great influence on the kids, and his commitment to the job is second to none. I thought he saw his future as a coach/manager, and the players certainly love him (Wisdom especially is always praising him to the skies for how he's helped him), so I'm a bit concerned he's moving, but rather elsewhere in the club than somewhere outside it. I don't know much about Inglethorpe, except that he seemed to be doing a decent job at Spurs and Wolves were reported as trying to get him as first team coach.

I have always rated Rodolfo, I hope this give him more power to shape the academy....

Think its a good thing and most importantly he's staying. Had we lost him aswell it would have been a crying shame.

I just hope he wants to change his role. I thought he seemed thoroughly absorbed by the job of managing the team.
