It's still early days, but it is great to see. They look great in the Champions League, though. I hope they don't win that, we'll never hear the fucking last of it.
They really are. They're famous among the London clubs for releasing DVDs for all kinds of dubious achievements.
My father is a Spurs fan. He has called me more often this Autumn than ever before but all in a sudden the phone calls are a bit more seldom. I will however take him to Anfield for his 70 birthday when we play Spurs in february. For his 60th I took hun to Liverpool - Sunderland (3-0) same weekend as Spurs met United in London.... at least he got a good Beatles weekend 😉

That's what I was thinking, their big guns are struggling right now. Hopefully they miss top 4 and Kane, Alli and Eriksen fuck off somewhere else.

Yeah its funny - the problem is they must have thought they were champions after their performance against Madrid and then us. Truth is in that game we had like 70% possession, and decided to not give a fuck about defending. I know we have been shit at defending as a team but they should have realized in that game that no other team plays that shit defensively - and beating us 4-1 should not have given them the confidence of being so great. We on the other hand along with Klop - thought - how the fuck can we lose to shit like that (well I actually think all the other teams and their players are shit - except for Hazard, Aguero, Du Bruyne, and De Gea) - and decided 'OK - I guess we have to defend a bit', so we ain't looked back since.
But a lot of their well to do performances have been down to busting a gut and running - there is also so much of that you can do before the player himself realizes - 'If I carry on like this...I am going to cut my career by years...or...my body can't take this running around'. I think these thoughts play on their mind and they stop performing in certain matches to the same level. We have learnt from that last season - we don't press like nutters so that we can at least field a decent team in late November, December, and January.
Would take most people in their midfield in a heartbeat - and wonder which ones would be more easily persuaded if Spurs do actually end up outside the Top 6.. Wanyama, Dembele & Winks would all add a lot to our team. They can keep Sissoko, he's wank.
