Right lets get him back. Pep Lijnders is on the dole.

Former Liverpool coach Pep Lijnders has departed NEC Nijmegen after the Dutch side failed to gain promotion to the Eredivisie.
Lijnders left his role in Jurgen Klopp's backroom staff and took over as head coach at NEC at the start of January, leading them to third in Holland's Eerste Divisie to earn a play-off place.
But the club fell at the first hurdle with a two-legged defeat to Emmen, who finished 16 points behind them in the regular campaign.
After consigning the club to another year of second-tier football, NEC took the decision to part ways with Lijnders.
"Pepijn worked with us under very difficult circumstances, which have had repercussions on both the team and on him personally," techical director Remco Oversier said. "We have consciously entered into the adventure with each other in the winter, with high expectations from both sides.

"Unfortunately this did not work out for both of us as we had previously proposed.
"We have discussed this in all honesty, in which we have also looked forward and together we have come to the conclusion that the expectations of the future are too far apart. It says a lot about Pepijn's character that he dares to take this courageous step.

"Pepijn has put a lot of energy into his work and we would like to thank him for that. We wish him as a club good luck in the rest of his career."
On his departure, Lijnders paid tribute to the club which gave him his first opportunity of a head coach role.
"Firstly, I want to thank my immediate daily staff, they have given everything and were very motivated to bring NEC success," the former Reds man said. "Top and foremost professionals who give character to the club from the inside out.

"Secondly, I want to wish the club success, I wanted to build with a lot of drive, to form a new real NEC team but I feel that it is better to step out and open the door for a new coach who has the complete confidence enjoy."It is not believed his departure is linked with the continued speculation over Zeljko Buvac's future at Anfield, with Klopp's right-hand man away from the club since the 0-0 draw with Stoke.

Yes, although I still feel he has different skills to contribute as a kind of link man rather than an assistant. He was brilliant at liaising between the Academy and Melwood, and working on bespoke coaching sessions for individual players.

Lijnders was in Kiev to watch Liverpool’s Champions League final with Real Madrid on Saturday, and was seen in conversation with a number of club officials and staff members. He is understood to be keen on a return.

Being headhunted by Comolli must be right up there with getting a fan letter from Boris Johnson.

Since leaving us we have won one game.

A couple of games we didn't take seriously and two matches against two of the best sides in Europe this season. That's a bit myopic Moron and the sort of garbage I'd expect Modo to post.

That said, the whole "family reasons" thing is looking a bit quesionnable, given he hasn't come back and is now being linked with other clubs. It suggests that the Arsenal thing probably had some truth to it. It's also ridiculous that it was allowed to spiral out of control at such a crucial point of the season.

We'll see what effect it has next season, but Klopp is the main man and he knows what he wants and expects from his teams, he knows the drill.

I'm still a bit baffled by the whole thing. Unless it really was down to personal circumstances (which it increasingly looks like it wasn't), it was a pretty stunning display of unprofessionalism from the guilty parties.

At HT in the Stoke match, when normally he'd be in a huddle with the other two looking at video clips, he was sitting on his own, at the other end of the dressing room, staring into space. Whatever the reason behind it, it was amazingly unprofessional.
