We always knew it was right to give him another season.
No one should brush under the table our failings but we give the legend of legends a chance to put them right before crying like children.
Kenny Dalglish means more to me than any trophy we might win.
I cant wish for change. I wish for him to correct the faults (im now totally blaming on Comolli) and i will defend his right to have the time to do it.

It's sentimental stuff but I'm in agreement.
Let the Chavs have there plastic flags and shithouse diving cunts.
We have King Kenny here and our fans were unbelievable today.
So fuck the lot of em.

The heart must rule the head, so Kenny stays.

But we'll be calling for his head by december.

I've given my reasons for a while, but I'd like to see Kenny step down at the end of the season. I don't foresee the kind of cash injection we require to make the position of manager less relevant (as Ross often argues it to be). If we're to progress, we'll not just need sound decision-making in the transfer market, but also consistent and quality coaching. I've seen little evidence of that this season, and I fear that'll only become worse a year down the line if systemic changes aren't made. Giving Kenny another year for sentimentality alone is only going to be counter-productive IMO, because it'd be very unfortunate if we're in a similar position in the league in say December next year, and the owners are actually forced to sack him. Surely having him step down himself is preferable to that.

Absolutely, and that's one reason why I want him to stay, because I trust him to go if he thinks that's what the club needs. Another reason is that we wouldn't keep him on "for sentimentality alone" - it would be done because a decision had been taken that there's more to be gained than lost from giving him time to put things right.

I'm aware of those, thanks. I wanted to see if you were still trying to claim that your opinion that "Kenny can't put things right" is a "fact".
