I might be wrong but the big boys always seen to get drawn together in the semis when two smaller clubs are still in the mix as well. Not that I'm arsed, we'll get twatted anyway.
Fergie must have agreed to that draw before the kick off. "Yeah, we'll play home for the 1st leg. Don't want to make it look too obvious. Just make sure Webb's available for the final."

[/quote]Lol.
This is best TBH, had to beat citeh at some point to winit, so may as well do it now when they may not be taking it seriously as a final & if we do get beaten one less game to play & less stigma & loss of confidence than getting beaten in a final.
The draw is no surprise and many of the lads called it. It usually work this way for us. Always the tough games but bring it on. Over 2 legs, we'll do them. We were the champions of 2 legged k.o. football.

We play City 3 times in January now with two away games in a week, it won't be easy but after Sunday the won't fancy playing us.

They won't now that Lucas is out, Yaya Toure will be breathing a sigh of relief.
As someone else in another thread already said, I prefer us playing against City over 2 legs. I think the chances are much higher than in one single match.
And we really should win this fucker to secure a European spot next year.

if manu had beaten palace would they in a two legged tie with a championship side to reach the final whilst not playing a single premiership side along the way?

You seem surprised they have lucky draws. Please look at their CL groups going back to... Forever!
