No but after what he did for Mikel Roque, I developed a major soft spot for him as a man.

My favourite Carlos Puyol memory: the thunderstruck look on his face as Gary Mac yelled at him on his way back to our half after scoring the peno by which we beat them at Anfield and knocked them out of the UEFA Cup in the Treble season. Pepe was in goal for them that night, I believe.

That match gave me one of my fav sami monents.

Rivaldo absolutely skins Gary mac and smicer I think it was on the half way line and knocks the ball about 10m ahead of him sprints on to collect and sami is stood there and absolutely boots the ball into the stratosphere, Rivaldo hits sami and goes flying a fair way too!

He absolutely flattened him!

Mine too, at 2-2 with 15 minutes to go Norn Iron were 40/1 to win the game! I put £20 on and was a little bit happy when Healy scored the winner.
