[/quote]We've ALWAYS been that way. Speedie, Stewart etc..we were linked with Anderton for fucking years after one good shift against us.
Good to know the scouts at least attend our games.

Parker is fantastic. I would have loved it if he had signed for us from Charlton instead of signing for Chelsea which set his career back badly. Trouble is, he is 30 now so we would only get a few years out of him.

I'm just naming the players that played a few games for us last season:
Defenders at the club - Johnson, Kelly, Flanagan, Aurelio, Robinson Carragher, Skrtel, Agger, Kyrgiakos, Wilson
Not heard many concrete rumours on any of them leaving. Kyrgiakos just signed a new contract. Possibly only Agger and Wilson will leave. And we're rumoured to be in for a centre back and a left back.
Total: 10-2 maybe to go, 2 to come in
Midfielders - Lucas, Spearing, Gerrard, Meireles, Henderson, Kuyt, Maxi, Cole, Pacheco, Poulsen
Rumours of Cole and Poulsen to leave, the rest will more than likely stay. Rumours of us been in for another couple of midfielders.
Total: 10 - 2 maybe to go, 2 maybe to come in
I may be missing a few out, but it looks like we're not as top heavy in midfield as you're suggesting.
